September 2, 2017

4-7 pm

Michael Warner will be at the Brewery this evening. Join us for fine acoustic folk-rock music. Michael has performed on 6 and 12 string guitars, mandolin and harmonica.

Michael chooses songs that tell a story or evoke a feeling. Uptempo songs like John Martin Doyle’s ‘Strings’ or Blues Traveler’s ‘Runaround’. Novelty/humorous songs like David Bromberg’s ‘Suffer to Sing the Blues’ and Sam Cooke’s ‘What a Wonderful World’. Thoughtful songs like ‘Pancho and Lefty’ by Townes Van Zandt or Clapton’s ‘Tears in Heaven’.
He has a way with Dylan songs, especially love songs like ‘If Not for You’, and  ‘Tonight I’ll Be Staying Here With You’, and classics like ‘My Back Pages’ and ‘Tangled Up in Blue’.
Add in some tunes by the Beatles, Pete Seeger, Gordon Lightfoot  and few original tunes,
